How to install a plugin from the WordPress plugin repository

In this example, we will install the Classic Editor plugin. The process is the same for all other plugins in the WordPress.org plugin repository.

1. In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Plugins

   
   

2. Click Add Plugin

   
   

3. Search for the plugin you want to install

   
   

4. On the plugin card, click Install Now

   Installing may take some time.
   

5. Click Activate

   
   

6. You can now use the plugin
